Location is very good and if you only expect a bed to sleep in its ok but the price is higher then better B&B s around the corner. The place doesnt give a clean apperance but is a bit shabby. Dont expect a Breakfast with a big B. It is burnt toast in a crowded little room.! But if you expect only a bed to sleep in it was OK.

I stayed only 4 nights but it was the worst stay of my life:
-wc is on the corridor.
-walls and wallpaper: badly damaged and dirty. Bad smell in the room.
-very weak light in the room. There was also a lamp but the cable end is european so can’t plug it in the socket. It was 10cm of a hazardous cut cable coming out of the outlet.
-the remote control didn’t work with the TV; the 3rd evening I was finally told they are unable to help me; can’t use the TV manually neither as the lower volume button missed and the volume was too high.
-there is a shower corner in the room, but almost dark inside as its dirty plastic ceiling obstructing the week light of the room.
-no shower gel. The last evening I didn’t find any towel in the room and I was told to wait the receptionist which brought The Towel 45 min later.
-”continental breakfast” rather poor: cold milk, 2 kind of cereals, toast, jam, in a tiny, ugly place.
Leaving the hotel was a happy moment renewed every morning of the stay;))

The hotel is very primitive; its only plus point is its position and relatively low price for London. Our bathroom had a sink with a tap that swivelled due to a loose fixing and a toilet that took half an hour for the flush cistern to refill: pretty disgusting! Breakfast was just toast and cereals without the benefit of saucers or teaspoons. I would never stay there again as there are plenty of other hotels in the vicinity at similar or cheaper rates.

Blair Vectoria hotel is very centeral and this makes every thing so easy for us, the location is perfect for any one visits London for the first time.

This hotel was very disappointing for the following reasons: (1) condition of paintwork on stairs was bad, (2) defective lighting in bathroom mean that one had to use the light from the main room to shave etc., (3) bed mattress was very poor with a large depression in it, (4) floor carpet was very worn. If my memory is correct this hotel is incorretly listed as two star, one would be more correct although I have stayed in better one star hotels

Rooms too small. Bathroom very very narrow.

I booked a triple room for me and my two children. The room is very small in an old building, hardly much room to manoeuvre. But the location is strategic to visit popular tourist spots and within walking distance to catch a train to Gatwick for flights to my other destination, i.e. Paris and Geneva, respectively.
