Hotel is very acceptable for a short stay. Single room was well equipped and not too small. Bathroom clean and modern. Adequate breakfast in a very pleasant dining room. Staff very pleasant.Five minutes to Central / District lines. Will use this hotel again.

I found this hotel very good for the price. I was worried having read some reviews on other sites. The hotel is very near 2 undeground stations and from my room in the basement/lower ground floor you could hear the trains, but it wasn’t too bad. Very handy for a short London stay.

The first bedroom allocated on the ground floor was small and you could hear the rumble of the underground. The staff were very helpful in allocating a different room which was to our satisfaction.
The hotel is clean but tired. It is in a good position and I would stay here again. The continental breakfast was good and plentiful.

Short walk to Bayswater and Queensway railway stations and a stones throw from Hyde Park. Narrow but long room, good breakfast.

The hotel is looking very tired and the first room was very small and dark. We asked for a larger room and the staff were very helpful, the next room was better but the bathrooms are tiny. A major rebuild and refit is due in 2009. The continental breakfast was fine and all the staff proved to be extremely helpful and friendly. Location good just around corner from Bayswater tube station. If staying for any length of time in London get an oyster card for travel.

Small room with a tiny window and only one chair in a room for two people.
Very noisey at night with creaking floors and internal doors which are constantly being slammed against the thin walls.
The only saving grace being that it is close to two underground stations.

My single room was very small, but it was actually all I needed. I arrived quite early for checking in, but I was promised a room ready in an hour. When coming back, I had to wait for another 45 minutes. But the staff was polite and pleasant.
