Not very clean and the room stinked of cigarette smoke. The fan in the bathroom was very noisy.
    Nice receptionists!

The owner was not polite.. The hotel in bad condition. Not clean behind the furnitures. The food was junk food

    Everything is very old!
The carpet the bedding , the shower, the furniture is old.
One morning their supplies for breakfast was not delivered – so ; no breakfast that morning. (breakfast included in room price).
Breakfast room small and you have to share a table with anybody.
    Location is very good.

the hotel is let down by the meagre breakfast. One day I had 30 baked beans on the plate of my ‘full englalish breakfast’, the next day I had 45 beans. One should not expect breakfast to finish at 9.00am on a bank holiday. Friendly helpful staff at reception, the kitchen staff were not rude, but they were not very welcoming.

while i found the environment friendly the place itself seemed quite run down. it was fine for my needs as i didn’t need to spend alot of time there but there was no shower just a sink in a lopsided room.although the traffic noise did rip through the room at the early hours of the morning but like i said for my needs it was fine the breakfast was really nice, and the staff in the kitchen area where friendly and attentive, but for those who are a little more fussy than me it may not be the place for you.but for those who just need somewhere to put your head down after along days work, sight seeing, or indeed a night out it was fine with a nice breakfast in the morning. Victoria station was just round the corner and for that purpose is why i booked the hotel and that made all the difference….Nicky

We were coming from US and stayed 9 nights. Perfect location, 10 minutes walk to either Westminster Abbey or Buckingham Palace. Rooms are small but cleam. The bathroom is minuscule. I paid 60 pounds per night – is a good rate for London, if you are coming only to sleep at night. For $120 I can have a 4star accomodation in US, not in London, where the real exchange rate is 1:1. The breakfast was simple and served by east european woman. Everyday is eggs, sausage/bacon, toasts, tea/cofee – seems to be a true english tradition. The room was cleaned every day, the sheets every other day. No shampoo.

Reasonable price for a place to sleep in central London. Many of the places of interest are within a walking distance. The breakfast was good, the receptionists were nice and with a sense of humor. For this price I’d say that the conditions were good.

Very small shower rooms and not enough of them and toilets too far away-from my room anyway. Great location though and great price for SW1.

Friendly and helpful staff. Room was ok. Bathroom tiny with cabinet above the tiny sink which made it practically impossible to use! Good breakfast but dining room small and I had to share a table everyday. Good breakfast though! Excellent location and good value. I would stay there again.

Convenient location…close to underground, Victoria Station, Gatwick Express and shops. Small room, not much of a view, but had our own small bathroom. The stairs were hard to manoeuver with luggage though (no elevator). Considering you’re only there in the evenings for sleeping, it was adequate. They give you a good breakfast to start you off. I’d say that this is a very basic hotel, not fancy at all and a decent place to stay for the price in that location.

staff very friendly. small room. very small towels. very small shower. quite clean, room put in order every day, but bedding wasn’t changed the whole visit (7 nights).luggage deposit after check out possible, in the tiny loby, but the hotel is not responsible for it. english breakfast generous and not too bad as english breakfasts go. excelent location. all together – for people who come for a visit consisting of spending most of the time wandering about, and don’t mind roughing it a bit as far as the hotel goes, it is a good place, maybe a bit over priced.
