I stayed here several times a few years ago and thought that the hotel was a little shabby but the location is excellent for the University of London and the British Museum. This visit I was pleasantly surprised as the hotel has been refurbished and the room I stayed in was excellent. Overall very good value for a London hotel.

Very convenient to the underground. Attractive part of London to be in.

Above expectations. The atmosphere was classier and the rooms were clean and in good shape. Breakfast hall also great, (but) breaksfast was fine.
Free wireless internet access in the lobby.

Bed was past its best and pillows awful.
    Towels were threadbare.
    Overall though value for money

Good Service – slightly larger rooms than usually found in the newer hotels.
