President Hotel London should be *** hotel.
Way Average for Facilities (room 725):
Cleanliness it was very good in the room but bad in the corridors (the 7ht floor).
Small duple bed with “hole” in the middle and third-rate shower (the “showernoddle” was loose.

too many police sirens in the night…hardly the hotel’s fault, though

There were renovations going on when we stayed at this hotel, which meant we had to take a room with a “view” into the inner “court” – quite ugly but very quiet. Room size was very acceptable for London. Normally there are rooms available looking out onto Russel Square or a quiet street. Despite renovations, which caused one end of the corridor to be quite dusty, we were not disturbed by noise. The location is fantastic – 1 minute from the tube, in Bloomsbury, close to everything you go to London for. The breakfast was unedible, so we didn’t try the restaurant for a meal. But a lovely breakfast was available within a 1 minute walk. There is free wireless available in the main floor lounge.

This hotel provides good quality and quite good location. From this hotel you can, in 10 min., walk to Oxfordstreet (main shopping street) and there is a 20 min. walk to Piccadilly. Some restaurants and shopping neaby this hotel. The continental breakfast is not so good and they should be more organised in the lobby.

The breakfast was just awful. Coffee? I never before have left coffee on table after one sip. This time I did. Nothing was in order at breakfast place, everything had to be picked up from here and there. Really lousy “continental breakfast” – ha, it has never seen any continent.
At reception the lady said that Internet is free, but it proved to work with coins, 4 pounds per hour, which is 4-times as much as any Internet-place in town.

This hotel is ideal for a short stay in London because it is so well located. Russell Square is a pleasant green space close by and the British Museum is just around the corner. Plenty of transport options for a quick ride to wherever you need to go. The rooms are basic but perfectly adequate for visitors who are out and about during the day. I have stayed twice at The President and would do so again.

The service in the dining room was terrible. People had to wait quite a long time to get knives, plates, etc. On Saturday morning, the dining room was not capable of serving all the guests, so some of them were directed to a nearby hotel of the same hotels net.
On the other hand, the hotel’s porters were very helpful and kind.

The hotel is located near to the Russell underground station, just at the back. The breakfast is just ok. Room is small for 3 people with big luggage.

The staff were pleasant and helpful. The room was satisfactory and the continental breakfast was good. I was extremely pleased with how close the hotel was to Russell Square underground – this made commuting to other areas convenient.

Room was very small but neat. There was no hairdryer in the room and needed to deposit money in order to get one. besides this everything was very good

The breakfast was poor – compared to continental breakfasts in other hotels in the same price range. Otherwise, we were satisfied.
