Excellent location – close to bus to Leicester Square and river walk to London Eye. Also close to underground and overground train service, particularly if you arrive at Gatwick airport. Good value – compact room and reasonable breakfast. I would stay there again

my room was very spacious because it was a quadruple room for single use. People at the desk very kind. Internet service easily available. Luggage storage in a locked room, request of ticket and signature for giving it back. The only flaw may be considered the bathroom, which was fully renovated but a little small. Moreover, its door had a partially transparent window pane which is ok if you are alone or a couple…not so good if you share the room with friends.

This hotel different meet the usual standards for 4 stars in my opion based on recent experience throuhout Europe. The staff were not very welcoming or friendly and the bathroom in my unit needed a good clean.

The Hotel is conveniently located close to Victoria Railway station. It provides good value for money. The room was clean and modern, even if a bit on the small side. My only complaint, which I admit I did not say to the manager was that it would have been nice to get some fruit at breakfast.

When booked throught the [website], this hotel is well priced (for London) and it is farly well situated being a short walk from Victoria and Westminster. It quite comforatable and I find it helpful that it has a bar and lounge area where one can pug in a lap top to do some work before collecting luggage and heading back to the airport.
I have stayed here a few times and found the staff helpful and friendly. I do not have breakfast so I cannot rate the food. For evening meals and lunches, there are a number decet restaurants nearby.

The hotel was very close to everything. The room was very small and an addition of a fridge in the room would help very much

Location! Location! Location! There was easy access to everything via bus at the door, tube or walking.
One would book it only as a place to sleep. We’ve seen larger shoe boxes. Not enough space to put luggage for two; nowhere to hang towels – the one tiny hook was missing from the bathroom door. We kept bumping into each other.
The hearty breakfast (cereal, juice, eggs, sausage, bacon, beans, mushrooms, toast and continuous tea and coffee) needed the healthful addition of fruit (apple, banana or orange perhaps).
Having said that, the Hotel was clean, the Reception area, Dining Room and downstairs facilities (WCs) were very good. The female reception manager was particularly friendly and helpful to us. Dining room staff worked hard to see that we were looked after.
We did all the things we wanted to do and this hotel provided a useful base for that.

This modest, no-fuss hotel is ideally placed in central London for the main tourist attractions, many of which are within easy walking distance, and there is a bus stop right outside. And it’s quiet, even though there’s a small bar, which also offers a happy hour. The staff go out of their way to be helpful and the Sidney has a good family feel, even though it’s popular with business people, too. I’ve stayed there on and off for six months and it’s my first choice when I am in London.

Clean and comfortable room. We got an exceptionally good rate for New Years Eve by booking early. Good location close to Pimlico tube station and 15 minutes walk from Big Ben. Bit of a queue for breakfast (which was ok) but it was new Years day so everyone had had a lie in! Facilities wrer basic but had everything we needed.

This hotel is in an excellent location ..10mins walk from Victoria coach and train station and approx 20mins walk to Westminster. From the bus stop outside the hotel you can get to Picadilly for Ј2pp. It appears to be in a safe neighbourhood and has some pubs nearby. We have stayed here twice now and would thoroughly recommend it.

The rooms were clean, bathroom very small, but manageble. For the price we paid (Ј60 a night), I would say that the price was good. The room was clean, the heating was working, there was enough hot water when showering and good breakfast. Very good location. Water was everywhere in the bathroom when showering and there was not sufficient light in the room (only lights above beds were working) was dragging the standard down. Overall I would recommend it.

Smallest room we have ever stayed in. The bathroom is not much bigger than a closet and the room smelled like urine.

The single room initially offfered (eg 604) in the basement is the smallest hotel room I’ve ever encountered in 20+ years of travel, it is totally unliveable. There was less than 1×3m of free space in the room and I was unable to open my suitcase. I asked to be moved which was only achieved by paying a supplement of 25 pounds per night in addition to my ‘pre-paid’ booking. The twin room (509) was adequate . Cleanliness is good. Bathrooms are modular and no bigger than those in an aircraft, though water pressure is good. Location is also good being a 10 min flat walk from Victoria station. Breakfast is free but basic eg orange flavoured drink instead of orange juice. This hotel follows the old London tradition of seeing how much you can get away with in delivering a basic service!
